LENTEN RETREAT

Dear Parents,

St. Monica’s Prep. is so very pleased that we can once again expose and “treat” our children to Lenten Retreat 2024. Our day will be held on Tuesday 12 March and there is a reminder that all retreats begin and end at school as we see this as a school day where through God’s Grace, there can be healing, guidance and renewal.  As we shall be using venues, facilitators and maxi-taxis, the cost attached will be $40.00 per child; this figure will be subsidised by the school.

The retreats are as follows:

Jnr. and Snr. Infants – Mount St. Benedict

Std. 1 – Emmaus Centre

Std. 2 – Holy Rosary Monastery

Std. 3 – The Assumption Parish Hall

Std. 4 – The Cluny House Arouca

Std. 5 – Living Water

A reminder to moms and dads that SMP will make our Lenten Procession around NAPA on Wednesday 13 March at 8am.  Children are allowed to wear long pants on that day.  You are invited to bring a family member or coworker – help to spread our FAITH.

The students will have spiritual experiences of two days back to back with our Lord.
